April was married in 1963 to Pat McClory and they raised their 2 sons, Michael and Brad in Highwood, IL.  While April was raising her boys she worked as a Teachers Aide in Highwood, as well as a Private Secretary in Lake Forest.  April fought a hard battle with pancreatic cancer, starting in 1989.  Whe went into remission for a period of time, but sadly passed away on September 16, 1993.
